Rahul to undertake 'Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra' in 17 districts of Assam from Jan 17 Singh

Guwahati, Jan 6 (UNI) Congress leader Rahul Gandhi will undertake the 'Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra' in 17 districts of Assam from January 17 to January 25, All India Congress Committee spokesperson Mahima Singh said here on Saturday.
The yatra will begin on January 14 in the violence-torn Manipur and end on March 20 in Mumbai, covering 14 states and 85 districts, largely by bus and on foot, and end just weeks before Lok Sabha election next summer.
Addressing a press meet, She said the yatra will cover 17 districts of Assam and a total of 833 km.
Congress National general secretary (organisation) K C Venugopal and Assam in-charge Jitendra Singh will arrive in Guwahati on January 9, Mahima said.
About 25 sub-committees will be formed for Nyay Yatra in the presence of the two Congress leaders, she added.
